Proud to join @usdawunion.bsky.social reps and Tesco colleagues at Redditch Extra to back the Freedom From Fear campaign.

With 1 in 10 shopworkers assaulted and most facing abuse, it’s vital we strengthen protections and take a zero-tolerance approach.

Great to visit Astwood Bank Primary School and speak with staff and pupils about their priorities.

Huge thanks to Mrs Yarnold, Mr Mellows and the whole team for their dedication to providing a nurturing, high-quality education for local children.

Great to visit The Old Needleworks Foundation to see their brilliant partnership with FareShare UK in action.

Every week, surplus food from supermarkets is transformed into nutritious meals for families across Redditch - ensuring good food never goes to waste.

I met with @parkinsons.org.uk, calling for welfare reforms and NHS plans that reflect the realities of this complex, fluctuating condition.

As the son and relative of people affected, I know how vital it is that no one is left behind.

Astwood Bank Village temporary traffic lights 🚦

I have spoken to the Highways team at Worcestershire County Council and hope it can be rectified urgently and safely 👇

Huge thank you to everyone who’s signed and shared the petition to restore Redditch's police front desk since my question in Parliament yesterday. The response has been fantastic.

Have you signed my petition on the lack of a front counter at Redditch Police Station?
I raised this with Home Office Ministers today — our community wants proper access.
Please sign & share.

A Busy Greenlands Surgery

It was great to meet so many residents — we discussed a wide range of issues, from ongoing police investigations & housing to concerns around JLR. Whatever the issue, big or small, my team and I are always here to help. Find future dates in my website.

☕❄️ It’s that time of year again — when my usual latte makes way for a rich, cozy hot chocolate! Always a treat to stop by Coffee#1 in Redditch and take a moment to warm up and recharge. #HotChocolateSeason #Redditch

8 out of 10 people living with diabetes say they’ve faced negative attitudes because of their diabetes. This World Diabetes Day, I am joining @DiabetesUK's call to strike out sigma.

It was an honour to join the Mayor, veterans, councillors, schoolchildren, cadets, emergency services, local businesses and residents on Plymouth Road to mark Armistice Day.

Together, we paused to remember the courage, sacrifice and service of all those who gave so much for our freedom.

A wonderful visit to Batchley First School. Such an impressive, caring and inclusive school — a real credit to Mrs Downes, the brilliant staff & Chair of Governors Steph Heighway. Loved seeing the new library 📚 and even joined a game of Connect Four on the playground!

In Redditch Town Centre, across Redditch, Astwood Bank, and our neighbouring villages, people came together to pay tribute and observe a moment’s silence for those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we so often take for granted #lestweforget

🛒 Delighted to officially open the new Morrisons Daily at the Kingfisher Centre today! 🟢🟡

This long-awaited addition brings more choice, convenience and jobs to the heart of Redditch. Operated by Veysi Bayar and Zaydan Trading, it’s great to see Morrisons investing in our town centre.

On World Stroke Day, I called for urgent action to improve stroke prevention, rehabilitation and recovery.

With nearly 2,000 stroke survivors in Redditch and the Villages, access to vital therapies like physio, occupational and speech therapy remains far too low.

Thank you to everyone that has been in touch about my joint call with council leaders to reinstate a police counter in Redditch town centre.

To show the strength of support from our community for this call, I have started a petition. Please sign and share with your friends and family!

Ahead of Bonfire Night, let’s keep our furry friends safe and calm
Pets at Home share some great advice:
- Create a safe space early
- Mask fireworks with TV or soothing music
- Keep cats indoors & secure
- Add extra bedding for rabbits or guinea pigs
- Monitor pets afterwards for any stress

It is a time to remember those who never returned home and to give thanks for the freedoms and peace their sacrifice made possible.

The Garden of Remembrance offers a quiet space to honour the fallen, think of their families and ensure their legacy is never forgotten. We will remember them.
