Instead of listening to Maurice Glasman, the government should be listening to people like 95 year-old Lore from Berlin.

It’s interesting to see that the former Tory minister Rory Stewart is now openly expressing concern the UK could be drifting towards a form of fascism. He is no fringe figure, knows the facts, and is alarmed by the complacency.

Despite appreciating it might not be a good idea, I have been to see the film “Nuremberg”, featuring one of the defendants in that trial. I’ll just say that, if you live in the UK and expect to be uplifted by the film in any way, I think you’ll be disappointed.

Good news: but the free-market VVD party could once again wreck the show by throwing in its lot with the right-wing populist, fiercely anti-immigrant Ja21 outfit, which wants an EU referendum in the Netherlands - probably the craziest idea you will find in the Netherlands this year.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv fans behaved disgracefully before last November’s match against Ajax in Amsterdam. There are good reasons to be concerned about their presence in Birmingham. Wikipedia reports …

As long as you have facts to support your allegations you cannot be found guilty of libel. In Nigel Farage’s case standing in front of the Breaking Point billboard convinced me he is a racist. Maybe Starmer is worried implying Reform voters are racist would be counterproductive.
