One of my favourite things about working in the video games industry is the (nearly) lack of any dress code. Today we have people sat busy at their desks, shoes off, wearing comfy sweatpants and an oversized warm oodies, one of which I see has sonic the hedgehog all over it. 😀

A person in an apartment across the road has their windows wide open and is blasting rap music out so loud it might as well be playing in my house. The whole street can hear it. This happens every time there is hot weather. It is driving me nuts.

Always a bit embarrassed posting my models but this is a Lord of Contagion I finished this weekend. Had it around unpainted since 8th edition. I could spend more time on it but I have a pile of shame to get though, so I deem this has had enough time on it. #warhammer #warhammer40k #gaming

1 week since slipped disc. Am getting back to normal although back is quite stiff and sore - ibuprofen helps. Avoiding bending or lifting as worried it might set it off again. New desk chair arriving today to replace current old and battered one.

Slipped disc day 6. Significantly better, no pain unless I bend down or twist suddenly. Able to get about the house walking like Tina Turner.

Been on codeine for a few days because of the pain from the slipped disc, so not much has been happening in my lower intestines. Have had my first "bio break" in 4 days. It was amazing but a two-flusher. Thought you all might like to know.

Day 4 of slipped disc. Managed to get out of bed with the help of two walking sticks. Moving about like a geriatric. Agonising pain if I move suddenly or twist. Sitting very uncomfortable & standing up for even a few minutes is exhausting.

Emergency GP said it sounded like a slipped disc. Have been prescribed stronger codeine but still unable to move on the bed without paroxysms of agonising pain in my lower back. Am getting quite bored looking at the ceiling.

Had an explosion of pain in my lower back walking out of the bathroom this morning. Collapsed & managed to crawl to my phone in the bedroom. Called partner & now in bed unable to move without shooting pain in lower back. Waiting call back from GP 🤒

Just because people don't get in touch doesn't mean they don't like you. People, especially men, are generally terrible at arranging anything and keeping in contact.

Politely called someone out on a Facebook Chaos Space Marines group earlier for using homophobic language. It escalated into a row about people being sensitive (without me I might add) and the post got taken down by admins. Think I caused a bit of a stir 😬
