Remember cringe reddit athiests from the 2010s? They're all still on Reddit and still convinced they are very smart.

And because I was a marketing student before I was an IT worker and before I was vehemently anti-capitalist, I always have to remind myself that about 40%-60% of a DCs capacity is just dedicated to advertising something or another in some way. So there's that.

That's my point of view as someone who works in a data center, anyways. I don't do much in the software realm, so maybe I'm talking out my ass, but it seems like once a service has some kind of scalability, optimization becomes a hardware issue rather than a software one.

Current living situation isn't really conducive to it right now. Roommate w/ allergies, small apartment, all that kinda stuff.

My favorite Clay Davis delivery of "sheeee-it" is when he goes to talk to Burrell and I swear he draws it out for like 4-5 seconds.
