But heavy and varied antibiotics, opiates for pain, and physically clearing out the abscess have helped. Got another surgical procedure Monday that will hopefully be the beginning of the end.

It's an abscess in my jaw from a bacterial infection that developed silently behind a bad tooth filling before it went nuclear. They're incredibly painful once they go boom, especially as the nerves die, and bone infections can escalate quickly into sepsis.
