Forgot to mention: This will only work on old 360 models that had Blades (Xenon and Zephyr motherboards), it will not work at all on later consoles (Jasper, S and E consoles) due to them not containing any Blades logic in the NANDs.

The alternative is hardware modding which is less risky but you need the material and technical knowhow.

the whole thing reminds me a lot of a post i saw, i forget if it was here or elsewhere, went something like "i opened a game's accessibility menu and found a bunch of cheat codes and no option to resize the subtitles"

The permadeath mode added in the remaster seems to lean towards that aspect and completely changes the dynamics of the gameplay which is cool, but I would've preferred an arena style mode of some sort with way smaller maps and maybe a scoring system..
