First time I came out to everyone was age 17 at a summer camp to someone I thought I might never see again (before I had any internet access). It was complicated and messy. I came out publicly a couple years later at 19 (after internet, start of college). And now I'm 49.

Came out at 16, I’m 40 now. It was such a unique time (2002) for the “underage scene” in Chicagoland. We had the internet to connect us but were still pretty invisible to outsiders. I made friends at other schools and (1/5)

Came out to friends at 18, but to my mom and family at 30(!) only cuz I wanted to bring my bf at the time to thanksgiving. He came, had a blast, then dumped me for someone else a month later while I was vacationing in PV 💀🤡

A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts.
The woman, Bruna Ferreira, has an 11-year-old son with Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother.
Ferreira migrated with her family to the United States from Brazil as a child and is currently in custody at an ICE facility in southern Louisiana.

Going on a big gay cruise at the end of January (11 days, biiiiig gay cruise). Looking for a cabin mate for a friend so he can afford to join us. It seems increasingly likely that Trump is suffering from dementia and diminished capacity and his inner circle is either showing him fake videos or something that happened long ago (or far away). That he’s being manipulated and someone else is pulling the strings and acting as President #25thnow

While I'm on a rant roll, scapegoating always produces terrible governance. Looking for people you don't like and blaming whatever you don't like on them is generally an easy sell to like minded people. But to the extent that your problems are real and not just griping to gripe, it doesn't work.

Correction to all the headlines. It's not "AI is eliminating entry level positions." It's "industry leaders are replacing entry level staff with unproven AI technology in a massive gamble." Unless companies have replaced CEOs with AI agents, the AI isn't making the decision.
