- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million

Everyone's talking about the Super Bowl Ring ad. Super disturbing. Knowing Ring has partnerships with both Flock and Axon? Even more disturbing.
Ring also has partnerships (or pending) with two of the biggest police surveillance companies that are growing apps that merges dozens of data streams, Flock and Axon—how will search party show up in that partnership? Maybe not at all but it’s always a fluid and secretive situation!

I live in a town with a Libertarian mayor (self described) who spoke at a Trump rally. LOL at this op ed.
I feel like I'm losing my goddamnned mind.

This op-ed was written by Kathrine Mangu-Ward. Katherine is editor-in-chief of Reason magazine.

Reason fired @shikhadalmia.bsky.social for being too anti-Trump.

A large majority of domestic abusers are cops. Puts the cop that responds to a domestic abuse call in an awkward spot when it’s his buddy on the force he’s supposed to arrest. A lot of times they’re just given a warning and the abuse escalates. So, I don’t think making bail is the whole problem here
Amid a 140% jump in domestic violence-related deaths since 2022, state Senate Republicans on Thursday proposed a legislative package aimed at ramping up penalties for domestic abusers and making bail more difficult for people accused of domestic violence.
