Is there an actual strategy to those tile-flipping puzzles where you have to make everything the same colour or are you just supposed to brute-force it?

I’ve made a conscious effort to have most of the characters in my vampire story not be male, but now that I actually need specifically a dude for a certain scene I’m realising that even amongst a billion side characters I came up with there isn’t a single one that fits the requirements.

I have a character whose whole deal is a pretty overt trans allegory – and it’s actually intentional for once – though she’s meant to be cis. I’ve been thinking about changing that, but it feels kinda… mean? Like, damn, you already have to deal with all this bullshit and now it’s also *systematic*!?

When Danganronpa 2×2 comes out I want to play the old storyline first before I jump into the new stuff because I’m really curious about all the changes from the original game, but I don’t have a lot of confidence that I’ll be able to avoid spoilers for that long. I don’t know what to do.
