this is a movie that understands that its core concept is absurd and it both acknowledges that and leans into it with unflinching faith. it loves that it is ridiculous and it wants you to love that too.

"char why do you love Hot Frosty so much?" we genuinely do not know. it is not the kind of movie we usually like but something about its naked honesty appeals to us. this is a movie where a lady falls in love with a magically alive sexy snowman and it has no pretense about it.
