This COP must commit to a fossil fuel phase out.
The climate doesn’t care how many renewables we have, only how little fossil fuels we burn.
Please stay strong and deliver this for us!

We restrict a lot of things for children: alcohol, scary movies, social media.

It doesn’t mean those things are inherently bad, just that kids might not be able to handle them in the same way as adults.

For now, maybe teachers and parents have legit concerns to put AI in that list too?

I haven't made any of the BSG reunions, think I'd like to though. If you ever go to one, let me know and I'll make it down!

Yes! I went back to the New Forest after about 10 years, and that smell of bracken, heather and pine hit me like a memory wall, really surprised me how unique it felt.

Here’s a really handy contrast checker, so you can see if your text is readable on your background in any 2 colours.
If it’s readable for people with vision issues, it’s readable for everyone, so a win-win!

“The climate crisis will unfold on the screens of our phones, closer and closer, until it engulfs us as we still stare at a screen”

Do we need a new word for irony?

Every time you post about what you're attending, meeting, and speaking about, I feel so glad we have 2 hard-working, motivated, and knowledgeable Green Party peers!
Thank you, Natalie.

I have concerns not just about the proposed changes to the asylum system, but the way the gov is demonising asylum seekers. All evidence shows they are not responsible in any way for the economic issues we're all facing.
These are vulnerable people. Language has power, as she knows.

The CoE net zero programme report also shows an example of small under-pre electric heaters and zonal heating, one church has cut its Sunday heating bill by 80%

Faith leaders are still often trusted messengers, so this impact on their communities has a big ripple effect too.

This!!! Drives me potty.
QR is a brilliant analog to digital converter, but never (rarely) needed on digital content.

I’ve been asked to put QR codes on websites, emails, social posts… Very good times for practicing some digital skills learning with colleagues!

"Not as a nation, but as a species"... that's a really powerful concept.

Good on her.
It’s almost time for penguin + polar bear Xmas picture spotting, and 5 spiked snowflakes.
I’m all in on Xmas fun, just get the science right people!

Somedays A, some days C.

There will be tough times ahead, just not sure how tough.
But we have to have a vision and hope, that’s what all the work will be for. Hope.
