Wildly angered at the fact that VW is using Malvina Reynolds “Little Boxes” for their latest advert.

Couldn’t be any further from the point.

Open Table Nashville, who is out every night on these bitter cold nights giving rides and supplies to folks sleeping outside, ran out of sleeping bags last night.

Things are very tight for everyone around the holidays but even $5 hand warmers make a direct impact in keeping a neighbor warm.

Hear, hear.
One conclusion from the week's news:

It is extremely important that we make it safer and easier to get around Nashville without being forced to drive

I really do enjoy early Wilco.

But the Yankees Hotel Foxtrot comparison to OK Computer is just USA imperialism over GOAT albums.

Perhaps I’ve said too much and shown my bias for British guitar rock.

28 pedestrians and cyclists were killed on Nashville roads in 2025. Three have already been killed this year.

Please come to the Vision Zero Advisory Committee meeting Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm to speak out against traffic violence and help build a community that's better for everyone.

Grey Kitty sat on my lap for about 4 minutes this morning before she gave up on work.

It's cancelled, y'all. I don't make the rules.

Louder for the people in the back:

📢 It’s not the rank & file workers who are failing Nashville right now 📢
The guy who they sent out to mark the spot for the repair crew, called me to make sure he had the right spot. Stayed on the phone til we had it right.

It's not the rank & file workers who are failing Nashville right now.

Late at night when I'm driving
Take me on board their beautiful ship
Show me the world as I'd love to see it

I've never really understood why a backslash is a backslash and a forward slash is a forward slash.

Also, why is one a compound word and the other two words? Someone needs to do something.

Struck them on the sidewalk
Afriye Seegars, 23, was killed and a 24-year-old man critically injured while waiting for a rideshare outside Pecker’s Bar on Hermitage Ave. A speeding red/maroon car (possibly a Ford Mustang) struck them on the sidewalk around 1:30 a.m. Thursday and fled the scene.
