Looks like Oliver Bonk is back on the ice, skating with the big group. He's wearing a different color jersey than everyone else, presumably non contact.
Great to see him out there. He'll get sent down to the AHL once he's fully cleared for a return.

Luchanko, Grebenkin and Gilbert definitely are the scratches, though. They're in the neutral zone watching everyone else work on o-zone/d-zone drills.

Game roster for tonight. It's basically the lines and pairs from practice the last couple days, sans the forwards who were rotating in (Luchanko and Abols) and the extra pair (Juulsen and Gilbert).

After his game on Mon, I thought Abols had locked down a roster spot.
But after Tocchet's comments yesterday that he'd like to keep 8 d-men, I'm less confident. Might they send Abols back to start the year to keep Jett?

Jett Luchanko is skating with the vets today, which is a great sign for his availability for main camp later this week. He ended up not participating in rookie camp, and this is the first time we've seen him with a group.

Made it to Atlantic City to cover the Flyers' draft, as that's where their war room is. Nothing crazy happened while I was driving, so that's a positive.

Recrutes, for example, ranked him 5th. That's way higher than I have Martin. But I basically agree with all of their writeup! (I rate his hockey IQ lower.)
They seem to see him as a 3C floor/2C ceiling guy. I largely do, too! I just think it's wild to take a guy like that at 5.
