first time using this tool^^ I struggle to do magic on greyscale pictures

either lines I want removed are still present, or I can strengthen the range but the result is aliased. cause lines to keep and lines to erase can be the same value

did i miss something?

Scanning method - 2nd part

I didn’t find a good app on iOS to clean and reframe a drawing, so I still need a pc + photoshop
1 - send photo to pc (with phone link)
2 - lasso select the drawing, create a
new layer
3 - delete previous layer, replace by white fill
4 - reframe to center+ add margins

Scanning method - 1st part

Phone - default ios app
1. Take photo - flat & evenly lit paper
2. Crop it to hide the other stuff
3. Adjust expo/brightness/contrast/black point -> +30 each
4. Set saturation to -100 (=B&W)

This takes 30s max. You can save adjustment preset for batches.

I don’t understand how much it plays a part in the final result though, bc there’s a palette reduction post process at the end. I guess it enhances the effect!

Another trick I liked is to slap a checker pattern on a lowrez photo.
Gives a fake feeling of palette reduction!

On this subject, I think this style is sexy because it aims for the vibe. It’s a nostalgic filter.

No historic accuracy here. The post process stack is huge: color grading, sharpening, palette reduction, AO, tonemap, and maybe others

floating geo for low poly details: a clever and easy way to give depth to textures! Just duplicate your geo, inflate, and apply a cutout version of the texture

It works with override.cfg! The window position is set before the splash-screen.

One major caveat: override.cfg must reside next to the executable. It's a bit ugly to have a file config next to the .exe

I tried writing the current position to ProjectSettings, but it seems to be a read-only file on export.
I'm looking for other ways (maybe in override.cfg?)

Also the "Mesh-Blend" post process is interesting, better capable than a terrain-blend, and maybe easier on the GPU? No virtual texture then? Maybe a dithering smoothed by temporal AA?
