first time using this tool^^ I struggle to do magic on greyscale pictures

either lines I want removed are still present, or I can strengthen the range but the result is aliased. cause lines to keep and lines to erase can be the same value

did i miss something?

good call!
Question, as i don't understand select-by-range well, how can it replace the lasso step?

It’s still a long sequence. Phone part is quick ~30s, but sending it to pc + Ps add a few more minutes.

not ideal

Last optional steps:
- Reposition parts of the drawing
- move black and white point to ease on the eyes

Export 😮‍💨

Scanning method - 2nd part

I didn’t find a good app on iOS to clean and reframe a drawing, so I still need a pc + photoshop
1 - send photo to pc (with phone link)
2 - lasso select the drawing, create a
new layer
3 - delete previous layer, replace by white fill
4 - reframe to center+ add margins

Scanning method - 1st part

Phone - default ios app
1. Take photo - flat & evenly lit paper
2. Crop it to hide the other stuff
3. Adjust expo/brightness/contrast/black point -> +30 each
4. Set saturation to -100 (=B&W)

This takes 30s max. You can save adjustment preset for batches.

Dockyard is a wonderful tool, perfect for presenting work on 3D stuff, thanks for making this.

I don't see you fiddle much, so I infer that you had strong refs, and maybe precise prep work done before? For posing, did you have a clear idea of almost every scene before tackling them?

Same. Got my old music library back, it was sleeping on a hdd. Currently testing musicbee as a local music player/manager. It’s nice

Did you choose hard edges manually?

I have a feeling that it’s hand-made in truckful
You remind me that I didn’t play No Rest For The Wicked, and I should, it’s gorgeous!

Haha no, it was made with UE5. See first picture. I tested Godot after the launch, tried to recreate the shaders, and played with the tools. I love Godot now, I’d like it to be the engine used for my next projects
