Not all that interesting. Loves theatre, Gilbert & Sullivan, Sherlock Holmes and all things woke. That photo was taken at Hilltop Park in Signal Hill, CA.
I skipped my visit to Hilltop today. PT pretty much wore me out and I had some other stuff to do. But there's tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow after all. Right? I said RIGHT?????

Noon at Hilltop. 65F with a ton of haze over Palos Verdes. No lizards, boids or doggos. No ice cream truck, either. Just a few people at the overlook and on the grass. It's been a slow week so far. I managed one shaky lap around the circular path, so that's something, I guess.

2:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 68F and boy, is it ever hazy over Palos Verdes! Nearly invisible, in fact. Very weird, only two other people here. I was feeling pretty unsteady after today's PT session, so I just spent some time at the overlook. No doggos & no ice cream truck. Quite a bit of traffic, though.

All hail Laz and the lovely Mrs. Laz, the angels who cared for this pair of cuties this past week. Neptune and Nova will not forget the time they spent with you.
Time to say bye-bye to babies. Anyone interested in adopting these two super-cool kittens, Neptune and Nova, should contact the Best Friends shelter. (And bonus karma points for adopting them together)

Another week. Or month. Or…forever?
I hope you keep them for another week!

2:20 P.M. at Hilltop. 72F with some streaky clouds overhead. A few visitors to the overlook and a family enjoying a late lunch/early dinner at the picnic table. Traffic is lighter today, I wonder why? Met an adorbs little doggo, a terrier, I think. Her name is Lolo. One lap around the circular path.

2:20 P.M. at Hilltop. 77F with a bit of a breeze. Pretty danged clear all around, even over Palos Verdes. Quite a few people enjoy the warm weather, both at the overlook and on the grass. No doggos 😕 but that's okay. Had PT today but managed to get in one lap around the circular path. Woo hoo!

You don't diminish the education of nurses and other skilled health care workers by removing the "professional" designation to their degrees if you want the country to have good health care. We need more people in the field. You don't discourage them, you incentivize them.

2:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 77F, quite warm for a change. Clear skies except for the usual P.V. haze. A number of people at the overlook and also on the grass. No lizards, boids or doggos, and no ice cream truck. I didn't have PT today so my one lap around the circular path wasn't as difficult.

2:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 68F with a heavy sunshine haze over Palos Verdes. Gentle breeze wafting around. A goodly number of visitors at the overlook. Four doggos, yay! One is a cute little terrier named Simba. The others are an assortment of flavors. Managed one stumbling lap around the circular path.

2:30 P.M. at Hilltop. 68F with a little breeze. Nearly cloudless sky. Haze over Palos Verdes, natch. About a dozen people at the overlook. Many couples enjoying a relaxing time on the grass, including a very cute curly haired doggo with his hoomans. Ice cream truck! One lap around the circular path.

2:45 P.M. at Hilltop. 68F with just a hint of a breeze. Totally clear to the northeast, but strange "Close Encounters" clouds to the southwest. Lots of visitors to the overlook, many with cameras. The ice cream truck is here! One cute doggo with his hoomans. One lap around the circular path.

2:00 P.M. at Hilltop. 63F with a brisk breeze. Pretty worn out from PT, both Wednesday session and today. Decided against trying a lap around the circular path. Spent some time at the overlook and enjoyed the beautiful views of blue skies and puffy, white clouds. Quite a few people, but no doggos. 😕

Noon at Hilltop. 60F with a chilly breeze. The rain is due in two hours, so I'm lucky to beat it. Quite a few people at the overlook, enjoying the clear view of Palos Verdes. The grounds crew is tidying oop and the grass looks great! No doggos, but that's okay. One lap around the circular path.

3:00 P.M. at Hilltop. 63F and the skies are blue with scattered clouds, some looking like they're toting rain. More people than in the past few days, enjoying the sunshine. Just one doggo and I didn't get a chance to greet him/her. No ice cream truck, either. One lap around the circular path.

Coming up on #KTLA: Consumer advocates tested out AI-powered toys. They found an AI teddy bear willing to advise children how to light matches and keen to discuss sexual fetishes. Maybe this technology isn't suitable for kids ...?

He was, as someone declared, “The King of Cats.”
Clark, aka Clarky Clark, Alarm Clark, & Clarkitty, in his salad days

tho we lost him this year, he is forever in our hearts.

one thing I miss is how his sleek abundant fur had the clinging texture of a spider silk, and whenever I vaccumed the stairs I had to peel it off the roller every few steps.

8:30 A.M. at Hilltop. 53F with sunny skies for the most part. We're expecting more rain later in the week. Not many people, so I snagged a spot in the small lot. Met a lovely doggo, a shepherd mix named Rover. "He likes to rove, like the Mars Rover" says his hooman. One lap around the circular path.

It was on this date in 1621 that Wampanoag leader Massasoit stated that England was "not sending its best people" and proposed building a wall around Plymouth Rock and making the Pilgrims pay for it.
