Hill Times is reporting prorogation until March 24th.
I don't think there's an alternative to prorogation. The question is how long. The longer the prorogation, the harder it will be to justify (politically).

Note there's no legal Q about the validity of prorogation in this context. A leadership change is a true gov't reset.
