I HATE how nature gave parrots self-healing EARS but also made them S U P E R L O U D so there is absolutely no consequences from their actions. Nature was just like "humans get bad knees. Dogs only live for 10 years. Parrots? allowed to SCREM with WILD ABANDON. FOREVER.

Haha I was going through my art and found this little doodle I did.

Therics in the Bestiary world are shapeshifters whose forms are reliant on both personality and innate magic.

This is a water bear shifter.

Google AI fucks it up again.

First up, this cute paper-cut style desktop of one of the Fell. Well, kinda. I always pictured the minor dakti subspecies as Scorpan from My Little Pony. XD

Some worldbuilding that didn't make it into the Bestiary trilogy!

The kobla (center) went extinct several hundred years ago. They were one of the most scientifically advanced species Erit has ever known.

They meddled with their own genome and made their species unviable. 1/

A beautiful 1x shot of a Mourning Cloak butterfly I got with my cellphone on the way home. It was so tired it let me get within about a foot of it. Then it was just a waiting game 'til it opened its wings. Poor thing is a little beat up!

Outside the black line is a white line which borders the outside edge of the wings. There are nicks and notches in the wings, and some of the scales are missing, leading to a speckled look.

heloo, i am ""aura"" and the Apparition Outside The Water gave (to me) the stikkfuud.
