It's quite wild. I'm Secretary for an Organisation, and now I have to figure out how to do fine grained permissions - all permissions flow from parent folder which everyone is an editor, so now you have to remove permissions from top folder to affect bottom folder - which makes zero sense.

Google "updated" GDrive so now it's impossible to do fine grained permissions of shared folders.
