The best part about taxing the rich in Seattle, is if the rich leave, water view homes become available for the slightly less wealthy who are more willing to contribute to society.

Well, it did also happen downtown. And based on recent office building sales prices, commercial property owners have lost many billions in value. Much of the value loss was due to remote work, but how much is due to street disorder?

From an architect/developer point of view, are there policy changes that could significantly increase permitting? Lower land cost would be the systematic answer.

This crowding will basically be resolved once the Crosslake Connection opens in the spring, with 4-5 minute frequencies up to Lynnwood. The ST2 system was planned for >2x the current ridership.
