Yes, I love this alleyway intersection that had a retaul business.
Thanks for informing us! I opened my complaints to the City EEC and the State PDC.
Whats worse is that Saka probably didn't even ride a fully electric bus this morning.
This press release shows Sound Transit's confidence in the Mariners to get it done:
No, the real concern is if one semi-sized fire truck is parked putting out a fire, can another fire truck safely pass? (I think suburban cul-de-sacs are designed this way)

Seattle deserves a steady, calm, collaborative, competent and considerate leader who won’t back down to corporate interests in @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social

Seattle deserves someone who over and over again has organized to make Seattle and our region better for everyone.
What is the SB79 implementation timeline? Washington State passed a similar bill, but won't have impact for 4 years.
Where though? Seattle does not have many driveway-free arterials with the right-of-way width of suburban Netherlands.
California definately doesn't need 4 traffic lanes.
I used to be a fan of Seattle's concrete arterial streets, because I thought they would last forever. But I have seen plenty of heavy bus/truck asphalt streets in Asia and Europe (in good condition), and bumped over so many misaligned concrete panels in Seattle.
She specifically called out your article on the Boston police budget at this event last night.
In a metro where only 20% live within the city, many SDOT staffers making decisions *are* those suburban commuters. The city hires based professional experience, not your home address.
Exactly. US grocers don't care to learn how reduce theft without being hostile to customers.
Strangely, my experience in Europe, which is generally safer with a stronger safety net than the US, is that grocery stores have elaborate access control with metal railings and turnstiles. Attractive, subtle, effective, but attuned to the realities of urban life.
The larger batteries getting installed in the trolleybuses this year can go a few miles off-wire. Hoping this planning will inch @kingcountymetro.bsky.social towards using that capability.
Carnegie Mellon offers online MOOC foreign language courses, for reasonable prices like $35/semester. I've done French 1 & 2 with them. oli.cmu.edu/product-cate...

Would be hilarious if a judge threw out the tree ordinance for being botanically imprecise.

Gives lie to the claim that the Ballard Bridge is too old and must be completely replaced.

Please, please, please, independent journalists (or platform hosts, idk) I want to quickly Apple pay per article. I’ll give you $1-2 to read a single article. It will scale much faster than everybody begging for new subscribers.
