Really pretty snow tonight in Minneapolis. Here's the new West Lake Street train station, with the orange still continuing to grow on me. I'm not there yet.. but getting closer. 🟠🚉

The white supremacist who shot five Black protesters in Minneapolis in 2015 is expected to be released from prison on Monday. Allen ‘Lance’ Scarsella said he went to protests after the police killing of Jamar Clark with hopes he’d “get to” shoot Black protesters specifically. The victims survived.

Man this is so discouraging. Music was such a huge part of my life, especially in my younger years. First it was the phone cameras in general now its the fear of being caught on those cameras...

Large multi-agency police response to an annual Noise Demo on NYE 2020 in Minneapolis that brought fireworks and graffiti to the downtown juvenile jail. Multiple arrests after protesters were chased around Downtown East by police.

5 years ago today Dolal Idd was killed by Minneapolis Police during a gun buy sting operation. Body camera video appeared to show glass shattering outwards from window with MPD returning fire. The killing occurred 7 months after and 1 mile away from where George Floyd was killed.

Can't help but wonder if these people will be as upset about all the other things their partisan media has failed to cover or lied about over the years as they are about fraud in the state of Minnesota that they're just now learning about - years after everyone else...

Conditions are atrocious on the Great Lakes right now, look at the strange place the 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘱𝘩 𝘓 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬 is hiding! The harbor at Marquette has only breakwaters protecting it, fine most of the time but not enough for this Captain in this storm.

The only reason Southwest Light Rail isn’t on this list is because we’re far too slow in building trains and fending off those weird people who think they can stop the train… 🚊

But that 2027 list…

Ran into a group of people waiting outside the Green Room. They told me they were eagerly awaiting a show by Jonah Marais and Blake Proehl. They said Jonah Marais is a pop singer from Stillwater and Blake Proehl was an undrafted Minnesota Vikings player in 2023.

Was nice that the Star Tribune had this plant opened up for Doors Open the last couple years, was a very popular location!
Our photographer Alex Kormann captured the exact moment the presses stopped for the last time in Minneapolis, ending a 158 history of locally printed newspapers.

Was getting a prescription filled and thought I’d get a bunch of items while waiting.

Walgreens uptown doesn’t have any carts or baskets. So now I’m sitting, buying nothing, doing this.

Only a matter of time until these stores close. Just unbelievable how hard it is to buy anything at Walgreens.

I recently got a 3d printer. So far I’ve made a small tug boat, a Mickey Mouse, a box for a esp32 smart home sensor and a brio train track piece.

What are some other useful things to make?

How about that nick YouTuber guy calling the place where 4 Minneapolis police officers participated in the murder of George Floyd as “George Floyd’s neighborhood”.

George Floyd did not live in Minneapolis when he was murdered.
