From story on Alberta journalist intimidation:
When a Globe reporter asked Ms. Smith about the story ... she said “I’m not talking about that” and laughed as she walked away.
In an interview with CTV later in the day, she said, “I condemn it.”

Alberta as we know it today simply would not exist without the millions of immigrants and refugees who built it, who loved it, and who were proud to call it home - including my grandparents and my mum. This bitter xenophobia is as unAlbertan as it’s possible to be. I’m ashamed. I’m disgusted.

To take the government's survey, you must watch a video for each topic.
On immigration, the video suggests Alberta stop taking refugees and take away the funding for their social programs.

Reminder: Canada turned away the Komagata Maru in 1914, and the MS St. Louis in 1939.
