we hear very little about the winners though, other than pensioners! the pretty well off dual earners on minimum wage in the midlands with a bmw on finance. they don't seem very grateful.

id write it myself but it's very clear that I am no longer seen as part of society by the government so my views are irrelevant ☺️

don't have a strong view really, think it's worth someone biting the bullet and writing it.

broadly the take goes that there are problems (inflation, debt) caused by -

1) rising minimum wages
2) raised personal allowance
3) fiscal drag on upper middle earners
4) increased means testing

(probably others)

indulge me to ignore inequality at the bottom (who are mostly disconnected from the labour market) and the very top (who are disconnected from everything)

keep having to turn off five live. I'm trying to listen to football and every half an hour they have to cut to 'MIGRANT CRIME WAVE'
