I always supposed that Destiny was sailing toward the Great Attractor. SGU came out just a few years after some great public articles on the Laniakea supercluster.

What is the Great Attractor? What is the Milky Way being pulled into? It is a fantastic cosmic mystery worthy of SciFi speculation.

They keep getting too hungry and have to break for lunch, mid-afternoon snacks, dinner, and likely second breakfast tomorrow.

These gerrymanders further spread conservative votes. Some conservative districts are likely more vulnerable. Someone savvy enough with GIS could target high-density purple suburbs and exurbs in these new districts for focused protests, canvasing, and public outreach and upset the plan.

I spent time with Jochen when we were both at U Texas. I traveled with him and the rest of the Käs lab to Biophys in New Orleans one year. He was such a fantastic and brilliant human being. Very sad to hear this.

Concentrate on the exurbs, small towns near big cities. Those semi-rural purple rings around every blue dot are gettable.

As someone recently struck by a similar MAS Mandolin Acquisition Syndrome, I understand the need to collect things. Honestly, any obsessive hobby might work. A guns-for-equivalent-value-lego trade-in program would do wonders for our youts. Replace one obsession with a more positive and creative one.
