Since I needed a new keyboard, I thought I should try out a mechanical one. This lovely Famicom themed one immediately caught my eye. I do like how it feels, but there’s a major problem. I mainly bought this for FFXIV, but it doesn’t seem to work on PS4?? I’m so frustrated. I’ve tried everything.

Bamco has this series called Gashapon Quest. Each wave has sets that contain either a character, clothing, or accessories. I had seen them before and thought they’re cute, and seeing a wave with two elves, I had to give it a shot. I got both accessory sets, but thankfully got an elf on my third try.

For example, these are supposed to be the same character. Do they have no faith in their character designs? I wouldn’t call the new art bad per se, but it’s definitely a change in style that I do not care for. I can’t be too upset, though, because you can actually toggle the old art. Choice is good.

Would you believe this is the third “new” DS game I’ve acquired in 2025? Despite only truly playing it not too long ago, Echoes of Time is a special game to me. I played it on Wii, and have a Japanese DS copy already, but when I saw a new English DS copy for sale, I had to get that too.

It’s been 4 years since I started my FFXIV journey! I tried the demo thinking I’d bounce right off of it, but ended up making great friends and memories. I’m thankful that I found a lovely group to play with. Here’s to more adventures!

The smarmy smile emote cracks me up every time. Also, loving the Occult Crescent home base area. Beautiful rendition of the FFV town theme.

I just learned that these are the same game??? I remember always seeing Heavenly Guardian and thinking it was shovelware, but apparently it was developed as a sequel to Pocky and Rocky that had its assets changed when the devs lost the license. Huh… They went all out on the moé focus for the Switch.

My beloved new retainer @ryiz.bsky.social designed for me, Seiko the scholastic. A Doman like Sidurgu, she followed a different path after being saved by companionate Ishgardians. Having my retainers be actual “characters” is a fun idea. I’ve got tons of ideas for her relationship with Eileen.
