I-95 at Mile 105.9 (about 5mi from MD/DE line). Closest live camera to my location, about a mile away. Not often to see all lanes covered.

Slightly interesting snow graph showing that since 2013 there has been an annual snow ‘pause’ during the holiday season. No idea really why it has worked out that way, but for Cecil County is just ‘has’.

I was away from Cecil County last week and managed to snap this shot with just an iPhone and a tripod. Nature is truly amazing! ✨

At least the current radar confirms there currently is a bit of a donut hole along I-95 for rain and I am not just imagining things. Should fill in as the day goes on.

It’s certainly muggy, but the nearby corn is certainly ‘enhancing’ my stations dew point / humidity reading. I’m a bit skeptical of an 83° dew point reading this afternoon. 😅🌡️ 🌽

Since Dec 2013, my 4” rain gauge has serve well for daily #CoCoRaHS observations. After 11½ years though, it was time for an upgrade to the more accurate Tropo gauge. Looking forward to another decade of rain observations.

Just spotted a Periodic Cicada here in Cecil County Maryland. Probably one from Brood X that failed counting to 17 as I doubt this area overlaps with any of this year’s broods. Anyone else seeing any?
