This piece is so damn good.

Particularly the way Marie so clearly draws out the connection between elite acceptance/appeasement of the far right on Twitter and in the real world.

This paragraph is a work of art.

From the latest YouGov - example of danger for the McSweeney “they’ll come back” case.

The share of 2024 Labour voters who are now Don’t Know has been falling. They’re going to other parties.

Doesn’t mean that they can’t come back, but they’re less likely to. The opposite of what Labour needs.

This is a great piece.

I wish I could ram this image in the face of every single Labour strategist.

The way Labour gets back to 30+% of the vote and defeats Reform is by reassembling its shattered left of centre coalition - not by chasing Reform voters who will never vote for them.

Doing this to four MPs who appear to have been picked more or less at random, and briefing it in such a petulant and immature way, is highly unlikely to get the PLP back onside…

So proud to be marching in London today.

It’s easy to take Pride for granted (I know I have in the past).

But now, more than ever, it means everything.
