This COP resulted in the lowest common denominator agreement - and as much as I want to love Lula, I am extremely disappointed in everything about this meeting. Maybe his approving oil drilling at the mouth of the Amazon a few weeks before COP should have been an indication as to how this would go.

Maybe the 80+ nations that want to phase out fossil fuels should get together and do just that. They could starve the petrostates of income. Let the petrostates drown in their own pollution creating a product for an ever-shrinking market.
