I just want to use whatever time I've got left on Earth to help save this beautiful planet from those who want to do it harm.
This COP resulted in the lowest common denominator agreement - and as much as I want to love Lula, I am extremely disappointed in everything about this meeting. Maybe his approving oil drilling at the mouth of the Amazon a few weeks before COP should have been an indication as to how this would go.

Maybe the 80+ nations that want to phase out fossil fuels should get together and do just that. They could starve the petrostates of income. Let the petrostates drown in their own pollution creating a product for an ever-shrinking market.

Is that the name of the speaker here? I've been searching for her name everywhere.

Indeed ... it has already significantly degraded our public colleges and universities.

Yeah, as I note in the column, a new study this week finds 47 million Americans live near FF infrastructure, which causes everything from low birth weights to cancer. The API won't advertise that

🧪 NEW STUDY:

14% of Americans (46.6 million people) live within one mile of at least one piece of fossil fuel infrastructure across all stages of the supply chain.

This proximity is known to cause health harms.
