The Government is planning to send King Charles to the US to celebrate with Trump. Giving him a royal visit right now sends a terrible message that his behaviour is acceptable. We can stop this if enough of us speak up. Will you add your name to the petition? you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ca...
Call off the King’s visit to the US for the 250th anniversary of America's independence
With the current political chaos in the US and Trump’s failure to adhere to international norms, and given his apparent obsession with the Monarchy, calling off this visit would send a powerful messag...

10 years after the referendum and the ONLY thing the minority who still support Brexit go on about, is winning that referendum (just).

Why?
Because it is the ONLY win Brexit has. The vote. Nothing since has been a win for Brexit.

There’s a HUGE Elon Musk shaped hole in the Government’s new plans to improve our elections: shady billionaires like Musk can still donate massive amounts of money with no cap: effectively buying our democracy. Add your name to call for a cap on donations today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ta...

Limited liability is one of our weird silences. It's a massive free gift society makes to plutocrats, seldom remarked upon, let alone contested.
Shareholders should have to buy limited liability, like any other insurance. The insurers would then be liable. 🧵

Re winter fuel allowance, the cut off point to qualify for pension credit has always been iniquitous. You get so many more benefits with it and all of them are tax free. The biggest one being not having to pay Council Tax. So those just over the threshold lose out on much more than just winter fuel.
