Chunky cat has had a rough few weeks, between losing his Annabelle and having teeth pulled. I noticed an abscess yesterday under his chin and had him checked out last evening, it BURST tonight so to the ER he went. My poor dude.

My best friend of nearly 18 years is slipping away a little more every day. I know I’m being selfish by holding on. But she is still sweet and cuddly and eating and drinking so I justify it. I wanted her to make it to 18 but I’m starting to fear I may not have 5 weeks left with her. My soul aches.

Had a dead bone removed from my foot Friday. I’m weirded out by my lack of pain. Like, when I woke up from anesthesia my foot hurt SO BADLY and I’ve had just a little bit of pain, mostly just occasional discomfort. Barely even taking “the good drugs” and managing with ibuprofen and ice.

I really miss my cats. I have not been away from Annabelle since she was diagnosed with leukemia and I am having a LOT of feels about not being with her right now. And I always miss my snuggly Chunky boy. 😿😿

I awoke from a dream that my parents separated and my dad was dating someone and I flipped out on him and the woman. My parents were married for almost 40 years. He’s been dead 2.5 years and my mom for 18 months. What a fucked up thing to dream about.
