i haven’t gone for the full perfect now that the game is out…. i doubt i’ll be able to get This high, but maybe i should do it tomorrow

and like the best music the game feels like it's trying to Say Something. communicate what words alone cannot. maybe i'm going too far. maybe i'm sentimental because it broke me out of a funk and i got to see my names in the credits. what matters is that to me, this is UNBEATABLE.

it's just so.... beautiful, and messy in a good way, the characters are all great, the artstyle is slick and fuses 2D brushwork and 3D models better than pretty much any other game i can remember, the music is like. almost all going in my rotation.

we'll be uploading a spoiler-tagged full ost video to the D-CELL youtube this week. then slowly rolling out individual songs to youtube/bandcamp in two weeks. this gives people time to finish the game, and allows us time to add the last bit of polish a proper release needs. thank you for waiting <3

I think UNBEATABLE is messy in the way a good local band is messy. Some things are too fast, sometimes you wonder why a decision was made but god damnit does it have heart. It is doing something SO special and seeing it in it's element makes youfeel electric.

it’s important to remember the Bahamut raids are Savage level, but if you’ve done some higher difficulty co-op stuff in Rabbit and Steel you should be able to manage. a good raid vibe is really nice and imo everyone having the same vision is the most important thing. i hope it goes well!

oh that’s really cool! i’ve still never done it synced because i’m bad at group organising, i hope you enjoy whichever you end up doing

also Bahamut is slightly difficult to experience, might be doable with help?

soooo good yeah. Final Fantasy has some really good music but as far as overworld themes go Eternal Wind is the best for my money, Crystal Tower goes hard too.

personally i’d say go to Stormblood, opinions on that expac are mixed but i like it and it’s closer to Shadowbringers
