Just watched If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Sheesh! Talk about a toughie. Byrne was very good though and it really smashed home the difficulty some folk face.

New Naked Gun film was puerile, ridiculous, embarrassing and gags that missed as often as they hit. However I was shocked how entertaining it was. Great stuff!

New Naked Gun film was puerile, ridiculous, embarrassing and gags that missed as often as they hit. However I was shocked how entertaining it was. Great stuff!
We have a combi boiler and have had for 3 years and I’ve just had a frankly eye opening discussion (good natured thankfully) with my dear wife who never realised hot water costs us more more than cold water (she rinses washing up in hot). Now a changed woman and here’s hoping energy bills go down.

#filmsky is it just me or does it really bug anyone else when films don’t have title cards? I’ve no issue with not posting actors and directors names all over the opening but do give me a title credit please! Think first example I can remember was Hoffa and it’s annoying. To me anyway!

Our #buffy rewatch with daughter (her first time) continues and we’re delighted to say she was as taken with us with Once More With Feeling and we’re now listening to soundtrack on repeat. Think I’d forgotten how exceptional this episode truly is. Absolutely wonderful on all levels. ❤️

#lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday LOTR extended on the big screen were absolutely epic in story and scale. Most epics of today still pale in comparison to these stunning achievements. A fantastic three-nighter at the flicks.

Just back from cinema. All three Lord of the Rings films (extended) over three nights. Absolutely fantastic and I now believe RotK may be on a par with Fellowship (TT certainly isn’t too shabby either but RotK feels like all the quests etc have more weight to them). Still an unrivalled trilogy.

Just back from cinema. All three Lord of the Rings films (extended) over three nights. Absolutely fantastic and I now believe RotK may be on a par with Fellowship (TT certainly isn’t too shabby either but RotK feels like all the quests etc have more weight to them). Still an unrivalled trilogy.
Lord of the Rings (Fellowship) looked amazing on the big screen and it has aged incredibly well. Beautiful film and probably my fave of the trilogy (like that they’re all together and I actually prefer the smaller scale of this one).

Lord of the Rings (Fellowship) looked amazing on the big screen and it has aged incredibly well. Beautiful film and probably my fave of the trilogy (like that they’re all together and I actually prefer the smaller scale of this one).
#letterboxdfriday and #lastfourwatched. Another v quiet week for me. Still this should be improved next time with all three Lord of the Rings (extended) over consecutive nights at the cinema starting tonight and No Other Choice on Monday. Bum numbing stuff!

Little bit surprised to see so much love for #Hamnet in terms of awards. Saw it at the weekend and it was good but not awards-juggernaut-good in my view. Period pieces seem to get extra love and attention just by being period pieces.

Finished Twin peaks full rewatch with my son (his first viewing). Delighted to say he loved it. I still struggle a little with The Return as just not enough TP and DC but overall it’s still a thing of beauty, strange and wonderful. Now for The Final Dossier again to finish off. #twinpeaks

Not sure it’s wise for my backside but my son convinced me (didn’t take much) to see all 3 #lordoftherings films (extended) at the cinema next weekend (over 3 days). 12 hours of Middle Earth tom(bombadil)foolery. Saw originals on release. Looking forward to it if I can stay awake (tire easily now).

#MartySupreme. While not the most likable character in film this was a good watch and best use of a New Order song in a film for quite some time. 4/5 🏓
