Update: I offered this simple amendment in the Appropriations Committee to say no President can withhold funds from a college to try to control their speech.

This one says the Department of Education can’t cancel funding for a college just because professors or students hold views Trump doesn’t like.

Republicans don't care about the $3 million in federal funding that makes it possible for victims of domestic violence to take their pets when they leave the abusive home. That's less than one two-millionth of the federal budget. They want to make it harder for DV victims to leave.
