This is so helpful thank you, I’m looking into how I self publish my 1st book + audiobook, and hadn’t considered going any other way than Amazon. But also, I’m wary of putting my material on any platform that will mine my work with AI. I may go direct pay, or at least offer that as an addtl option.

These kids can't be home alone in front of a computer all day, so -- which parent is staying home unpaid, and how would THAT paycheck get covered in this new economy?

I found this book useful to start the conversation on how insidious phones and social media can be for developing brains, and for my parenting. I'm surprised at the "outrage" and "dubunking." Folks want to shut down ANY discourse on how phones, devices, and social media can be harmful to kids.

I’m still processing this freaky AI bit, but it brings up a few immediate responses of how to manage my digital citizenship:

- Don’t engage with AI
- Be analog as much as possible, including customer service
- AI will almost always be part of a profit motive
- Watch out for AI cults! 😂
