Every budget from the past two decades has followed the same formula: more money for weapons, more tax cuts for corporations and yet ordinary people are told we have to tighten our belts and face cuts in our community.

What will Rachel Reeves' 'benefit fraud crackdown' mean for you?
Rachel Reeves wants to recoup £1.2 billion from a benefit fraud crackdown. Could it make life 'much more stressful' for benefit claimants?

🚨Our statement on #Budget2026

Yet more Government actions that place the burden on Disabled people instead of taking responsibility for an unequal and inaccessible society that the Government has the power to change.

The two-child limit is abolished at last. Watch out for the narrative that will follow | Frances Ryan
The right is already in a frenzy about the migrant groups it thinks will benefit – and the budget contained other trade-offs, says Guardian columnist Frances Ryan

Won’t be engaging with budget stuff today other than being extremely concerned about the government’s treatment of disabled people.
I’m exhausted especially after recent campaigning

Despise media bias and scapegoating against disabled people and those on welfare
Daily fail lies again on their front page this morning
There is no £15bn welfare splurge 🤦🏼
The guardian yesterday said scrapping the 2 child benefit cap would cost 3.2bn

Anyone who remembers the brutal WRAG cuts of April 2017 under the last govt will know why this research is important. Please share it with MPs + peers so ministers know the grim consequences of cutting out-of-work benefits for disabled people.

BREAKING: We're outside Parliament with cross-party MPs ahead of #Budget2026 to ask - Rachel Reeves, why won't you tax their wealth?

If this govt refuses to tax the super-rich tomorrow they are making a huge mistake.

An article in the Sunday Times today suggests Rachel reeves will remove 2 child benefit cap, sounds like good news right? Until you look deeper… it will likely come at a cost to other areas of welfare including disabled people!
The pip cuts were removed because it led to a huge backbench rebellion
