I took this as a baby photographer for my capstone project in college! Shot on 35mm black & white Kodak T-Max film, this photo now represents that liminal time between graduation and starting my career.

This image was captured at Carkeek Park in Seattle, WA in January, 2009. I was listening to “To The One” by Mediaeval Baebes on the drive to the beach, which made this day positively epic.

We can also stop bending over backwards to help ungrateful people 🙃 My kindness and support is freely given, but a little reciprocity would keep it going.

I don’t think we should be giving our warmth away for free anymore. My energy is depleted from masking my feelings these past two weeks.

I recently had an initial interview for the type of role I’ve been looking for since April. Wasn’t the right fit, but it inspired me to make some changes to my resume. The search continues 🤞

Last day off before getting back busy work season and busy small business season. I have an entire web shop to restock before Friday 🫨

It’s been so long that I forgot how to do this. I deleted my Twitter account over the summer but have the archives to remember who I was and how positive that spaces used to be. I hope this is a safe space.

I have few words these days. I mourn the loss of 2008-2015 Twitter. I mourn the loss of justice. I mourn the loss of joy. But women all around the world are finding their voices and rising up into their power. Maybe one day I will, too.
