3. Main plot was more lackluster than usual. I know it’s a conduit for me to run around and do dumb shit, but Arceus at least built on pre-established lore. All we got was “Pokemon hurty from human development,” a motif present in basically every game. Gas it up a lil, man.

2. These research tasks suck ass. I’m just catching and evolving. Bleh. What happened to the whimsy of feeding a Psyduck to confuse the shit out of him? Or catching sleepy Shinx before they go fucko mode and attack? Not all of Arceus’ tasks were great, but it was “what if animal behavior” in a game.
