Stealing signs the old fashioned way is fair; any team with a baserunner can do it, and it's just the guys on the field involved. Once you start with video and staffers relaying pitches it gives a huge advantage to the home team and now some poindexter in a booth is directly involved in the game

Miller doesn’t care about the GOP as an institution, he just sees it as an instrument to achieve a white nationalist ethnostate. He also seems fairly confident they’ll never have to win a fair election again (which may be folly but no one is suggesting this guy is actually smart)

Two major consequences: first, if 2026 goes badly enough for Republicans, it could backfire (become a “dummymander”) and actually cost the GOP seats. Second, and I wouldn’t underestimate this, it would be personally humiliating to these Senators to publicly surrender to Trump’s intimidation
