I saw this painting in a museum in Viana Do Castelo, Portugal.
It is believed that the French artist Nicolas Lancret added extra elements to an existing Dutch interior painting in the 17th century to make it more fun..
And we though Photoshopping was a modern day thing!

I told my 6yr old grandson I would get him a chicken from Portugal - he said 'No, I want an Eggdog' (a YouTube thing) - somehow I don't think he'll be that impressed at my stone art Eggdog!
