My biggest argument for climate change being real is choosing hot tea instead of cool water and wearing long sleeves on an August day. I did both today.
My summer courses ended yesterday at 11:59 p.m. I have had three students ask me to open up assignments for them to complete today. One said he forgot. Another asked, “What about the final exam?” I responded “What about it? Either you took it or you didn’t.”

I think I have figured out a way to get people to shut the doors of businesses behind them: Explain they have to pay for the heat or air conditioning they chose to let out the door they didn’t close. Only exception is the disabled who can’t shut the door.

Whenever my husband and I are out in public, the loudest conversation or the only screaming kid is usually within our immediate vicinity. This is why we stay home so much.

A conversation that’s blocking the back exit — not just the door— is about to get on my nerves. Sounds like the woman is having a business meeting right there.
