The Guard does nothing worthwhile in DC. I did see them stop a guy from jumping the turnstile at the Woodley Park Metro (the attendant let him through!), but otherwise they stand around in small groups looking at their phones. What a waste of time and money. I feel bad for them and their families.

Ppl can’t leave the platform at rosslyn. Escalators are stopped. Saw someone almost pushed into tracks.

Sad they can’t or won’t save it. Some years ago I was there on business and at the end of the day the Ford ppl I met with gave me a tour of the building. Quite a thrill for a working class kid who had grown up nearby and always thought of the Glass House as a sort of Xanadu on the hill.
