Just been listening to TMS on the school run. Absolute admiration for the young lad travelling from Manchester to Australia without using a plane. It’s everything I wanted to do when I was younger but was never quite brave enough

Sara Cox deserves all the praise right now. Running 135 miles over hilly terrain, fighting through pain, wind, and rain, over the course of 5 days is pretty insane on its own. Raising more than £5m for charity in the process is something else

Watched the new Downton film last night in Wilmslow. Good film, but I was shocked at how much the audience (primarily older woman from a "nice" area) talked and checked their phones throughout

Just heard The World is Not Enough in the car. I'd probably say it's the biggest divide in quality between the song and the film (the theme is one of my favourites overall, but the film is meh)

Second attempt at sourdough. Certainly an improvement on the sloppy mess from last time... Used the Tartine book instead of whatever book I used last time.

New PB at Crewe Parkrun this morning. I actually feel like I'm getting into my stride for the first time in a good 10 years, and it turns out I was wrong about joining a run club. I definitely should have done it a long time ago
