La COP30 será la oportunidad para poder abordar la urgencia de reconciliar la protección ambiental con los derechos de las comunidades indígenas, afrodescendientes y campesinas que habitan la Amazonía.

4. Most climate finance still supports large agricultural companies, export projects, and market mechanisms that drive climate change, rather than supporting the capacities of those on the front lines of its impacts.

3. States should include the principles contained in UNDROP, especially the rights to land, seeds, water, biodiversity, and participation, in their national climate plans and adaptation strategies.

2. However, they receive less than one percent of global climate finance and are often excluded from key decisions about the future of food and climate. This imbalance must end.
