Having cats means you cannot throw boxes away without them playing with it first. Only after they've gotten bored with or sufficiently destroyed the box is it legal to throw it away.

Interesting article about the new Joy-Cons. I remember every Nintendo portable since Game Boy Color had multiple colors at launch. Switch 2 was the first that didn't. The color it has is more subtle too. Style changes, but it's kinda sad. Variety and color is nice.

Thinking about when I went to a retro game con and they called the Wii retro. I did not like this. I also don't like that this happened about 4 years ago.
The Wii is 20 years old this year, released 20 years after the NES was released fully in North America.

Overall, 2025 was a good year for me. I went on adventures and finally traveled internationally for the first time in years. There were tragedies too. It wasn't good for some friends. It wasn't perfect.
