Medieval and bronze age spearrings. I wear my medieval pair all the time but I have to say I quite like both. Each one is based on an extant spearhead from the time period.

My cat Iris passed away in 2023 and we buried her in the garden. In the spring I planted irises around where she was. This is how they are doing. It's a wonderful testament to her memory each spring.

Since my dad died in April my stress levels have been insane and on the weekend I was hit with brutal vertigo that has gotten a bit better but hasn't gone away. So today is an enforced vacation day to actually rest. Will I fall behind on work? Yes. Do I have a choice? Not really.

We had a reenactment in very rainy weather. I have never had to bail a firepit before. I don't really recommend it. 🤣
