A Labour MP? Surely not. Tbh wouldn't be surprised if Duffield gate crashed. She's an opportunist. I personally still wouldn't have posed next to her at all though, I think that was bad, but it doesn't make her a terf. A social media blow up won't hurt though, will make her think twice in future.

Sian Berry resigned the Green leadership because she couldn't work with transphobes, you can argue about the effectiveness of that, but it was principled and doesn't indicate any terfery in her. The photo with Duffield is stupid and wrong and I hope she apologises.

I get how these photo ops arise but @sianberry.bsky.social you should not be standing shoulder to shoulder with the most transphobic MP in Westminster, it's simply unnecessary. To tackle transphobia you *have* to make transphobes persona non grata. Really disappointing as a Green member tbh

This is it, isn't it? Loyalties are disingenuous and little more than fandom if you claim your priorities are reducing inequality etc but only through your church. The problems we face are urgent and existential, I don't care about traditions.

I'm not talking about Labour ffs. Labour is rotten and has been for a long time. But fine, sit and analyse it from a marxist point of view and I will carry on in a party that is trying to fight inequality, climate change and for LGBTQ rights.
