Incoming 4 game Debrusk heater

Refs are gonna try and get the Avalanche the 2 points here.
Important that they go on an absolute heater all season, just to fall flat on their faces early in the playoffs.

The witch of November came stealing.
I thought that had been pretty well established.

Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. From the vaults, here's a piece I wrote for Cottage Life @cottagelifemag.bsky.social about the incident...

What really happened to the Edmund Fitzgerald?
“We are holding our own.” Unfortunately, the final words transmitted from the Edmund Fitzgerald during the early evening of November 10, 1975 inaccurately

The most Canucks thing ever would be posting a good record over this next grind of games they have, and then completely faceplant.
Rinse and repeat until June when they’re on stage drafting 14th overall.

Scott Oake asking Allvin about all the teams who blew up their rosters in recent years and rebuilt that are ahead of the #Canucks now (Ducks, Hawks, Sharks) is great interviewing.

Honestly, (and I’m probably in the minority) I thought Allvin’s comment about Boeser at the trade deadline was blown way out of proportion.

Actually surprised that Scott Oake grilled Allvin that much over the rebuild talk lol. Thought Macintyre being there would basically make it a no go topic.

Do I have it in me to sit through a Canucks game after that Lions loss?

I didn’t think we’d see a late Boudreau era Canucks performance but this team continues to surprise me

Just want to clear this up:
I absolutely believe this Jays run shows that baseball would work there.
This isn’t a post about stadiums, owners, etc. it’s about the stranglehold Rogers has over sports here. Growing up I had the option to watch a ton of Mariners games. It’s basically just Jays now.

I don’t think Rogers would ever allow another Canadian NBA/MLB team to get anywhere close to existing. It’s Raptors/Blue Jays or nothing.
Which is complete bullshit because Vancouver could absolutely support an NBA/MLB team.
