Taking care of 2 dogs while photographing birds. Currently using a Sony a7c R and then either a tampon 28-75 for streets and dog photography; or a tampon 150-500mm or Sony 400-800 for most birds.

Actually as we approach BFCM I’m hoping to get a discount and pick up another lens. Question to the community 📸🪶 does heat distortion affect all lens equally? My thought is if I got a 300mm prime vs an 800 zoom on the same subject if I crop in on the 300 would the distortion be qual? #photography
