The wildest thing is that while some of us are pinching ourselves to check we’re not in a dystopian AI-generated video game, others are celebrating “a new era” of hate-mongering, greed and billion-acre egos.

I barely watch the news but most days for the last weeks, something has popped up that I’ve had to go back to and genuinely check it’s not AI or a dark satire.

These times are absolutely nuts.
